This issue is resolved in Magics 29.1.2 and Magics 30.01

Our investigation showed that the issue was triggered by Windows update KB5094126, which impacts certain third-party applications using Microsoft Office / Word automation. This also affected Magics Word report generation.
Users experiencing this issue are recommended to upgrade to Magics 30.01.
Issue description
Magics Word reports may generate documents with empty or unexpanded values, instead of a fully populated report. This affects all Magics versions released before 25 June 2026 (including Magics 30.0.0). Excel reports are however not affected.
Cause
This issue was linked to Windows update KB5094126. Microsoft has also acknowledged that this update introduced issues for certain third-party applications using Office automation.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in Magics 29.1.2 and in Magics 30.01
Temporary workaround
If upgrading to Magics 29.1.2 or Magics 30.01 is not immediately possible, uninstalling Windows update KB5094126 has proven to restore reporting functionality in affected environments.
