Use this guide to find your ID-based licenses in the Materialise End-User Portal and locate the 32-character Activation ID needed to activate your software.
Before you begin
You must be able to sign in to the Materialise End-User Portal.
Classic and ID-based licenses
Your organization may have both older and newer Materialise licenses:
- Classic licenses — use a 16-character CCKEY and cannot be managed through the End-User Portal.
- ID-based licenses — use a 32-character Activation ID and can be managed through the portal.
Step 1: Filter for ID-based licenses
- Sign in to the Materialise End-User Portal. The List Entitlements page shows your organization's licenses.
- Select Advanced Search.

In License Technology, select Contains and enter
Flex. - Scroll to the bottom and select Search.
- The list now shows your ID-based licenses.
Step 2: Find the Activation ID
- Open the license you want to activate.
- Find the Activation ID in the license details.
The Activation ID is a 32-character code.
✅ Done — you can now use the Activation ID to activate your software.
