MatConvert is a plug-in to the Magics software, that enables the import of native CAD formats, the export of STEP and the import and export of 3MF into Magics. MatConvert is embedded into your Magics installation, but can be updated separately, allowing you to import the latest CAD formats in your current Magics version. Every quarter a new MatConvert is being released, which is also being integrated in the quarterly Magics Maintenance release.
Please note that upon installation of a new MatConvert, a license reactivation might be needed (see Missing CAD import(s) after Magics upgrade).
